The city is calling attention to the fact that there are many cases that have led to solicitation through matching apps.

The business suspension order was received by "President", a company that operates business schools in Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, and two affiliates.

According to the metropolitan government, the three companies were conducting so-called multi-level marketing for young people, in which members would receive income if a person solicited by the member signed a business school contract. It means that the other party was forcibly recommended and solicited to borrow money from a money lender, or did not hand over a document containing the outline of the contract at the time of signing the contract.

The metropolitan government ordered the suspension of business such as solicitation and contract for nine months from the 7th, citing that such acts violate the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions.

In many cases, people were solicited by people they met on matching apps and SNS, so the city is careful about using apps and calls for consultation with the consumer affairs center if you feel suspicious.
