On March 5, the Palace Museum teamed up with the Volunteer Service Team of Capital Normal University to organize volunteers from the Palace Museum to join hands with college student volunteers from the Capital Normal University to jointly carry out a special voluntary service activity with the theme of "Jointly Protecting Cultural Heritage".

This also marks that the traditional service project of the Forbidden City volunteers - the regular exhibition hall explanation will gradually resume.

  On the day of the event, the volunteers carried out a variety of voluntary service activities for the audience with the spirit of Lei Feng as their belief in service.

Through the promotion of the theme of "Visiting Civilization" and "Advocating Conservation", voluntary presentations of "I will tell you about Chinese cultural relics", and voluntary explanations in special museums, while promoting the excellent traditional Chinese culture, the volunteers inspired the audience to protect Chinese culture with full enthusiasm.   Volunteers from the Forbidden City led college student volunteers to set up publicity posts at Taihemen Square, Qianqingmen Square, Jianting Square, Treasure Hall, Sculpture Hall, and Ceramics Hall of the Forbidden City.

  At the publicity post in Jianting Square, volunteers focused on promoting the concept of the "Forbidden City Zero Waste" project, and introduced to the audience in detail the design concept and operating principle of the ecological composting flower bed, a new characteristic landscape located on the southeast side of Jianting.

  In this theme event, under the careful guidance of volunteers from the Palace Museum, college student volunteers from the First Normal University spent a month carefully preparing 12 wonderful lectures, and introduced the important historical buildings and Overview of the museum.

  On the day of the themed event, volunteers from the Treasure Hall, Sculpture Hall, and Ceramics Hall of the Palace Museum also provided services in their respective explaining positions, providing visitors with guided tours of the exhibition halls and conducting publicity and guidance for civilized visits.
