A foreign cruise ship, which had been suspended in Japan due to the influence of the new corona, entered the Tokyo International Cruise Terminal in Koto Ward, Tokyo for the first time since its opening three years ago.

Foreign cruise ships had been suspended in Japan since February three years ago when an outbreak of the new corona occurred on a ship that called at Yokohama Port. A German company's "Amadea" entered Shimizu Port in Shizuoka City for the first time as a foreign business ship.

And on the 2nd, Amadea docked at the Tokyo International Cruise Terminal in Koto Ward.

It was the first time that a foreign cruise ship had entered the Tokyo International Cruise Terminal since it opened three years ago, and a Japanese drum performance was performed on the deck of the terminal to welcome the arrival.

When the ship docked, passengers got off the ship and boarded a bus bound for sightseeing spots such as Meiji Shrine and Hakone.

At a ceremony held at the terminal after this, Governor Koike of Tokyo said, "For the past three years, I have been fighting the invisible enemy of Corona, but I am very happy to welcome Amadea."

According to the metropolitan government, six foreign cruise ships entered the Tokyo International Cruise Terminal this month, and are scheduled to enter the port one after another from next month.
