Job openings fell 0.1% from the previous month, while the number of people seeking work increased 0.6%.



The active job openings-to-applicants ratio has continued to increase since August three years ago, but has turned downward for the first time in two years and five months.



Looking at the active job openings-to-applicants ratio by prefecture by employment area, the


highest was ▽ Fukui Prefecture, 2 times, ▽ Shimane Prefecture, 1.84 times, and the


lowest was ▽ Kanagawa Prefecture, 1.09 times, ▽ Osaka Prefecture, 1.12 times. It was double.
