On February 25, at the construction site of the Baiyun Railway Station project in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, more than 5,000 construction personnel and about 300 pieces of machinery and equipment from China Railway Construction Engineering were carrying out construction work in an orderly manner.

  At present, the Baiyun Railway Station project is undergoing the first phase of metal roof construction, decoration model construction and the second phase of main structure construction. The second phase of the foundation floor has been completed 95%, the outbound interlayer structure has been completed 93%, and the rail bearing layer has been completed 92%. The elevated mezzanine has been completed by 83%, and the main structure construction of the second phase is expected to be completed by the end of April 2023.

  The Baiyun Railway Station project is an important project in China's railway planning, and it is also one of the main passenger stations in the "five main and four auxiliary" passenger stations of the Guangzhou Railway Hub Planning. It is supplemented by a tourist center, a long-distance passenger transport center, a tourist bus station and an urban bus station.

Guangzhou Baiyun Railway Station will become a new TOD (transportation-oriented development model) large-scale comprehensive transportation hub with Lingnan characteristics, integrating station and city, transportation integration, functional integration, ecological integration, and intelligent integration. It is the largest railway station in Asia One of the comprehensive hubs.
