Hirotoshi Yoshitomi (33), a nursery teacher who worked at Fukiage Tamadaira Nursery School in Hino City and lives in Ishigaki City, Okinawa Prefecture, was arrested.

In December last year, Hino City announced that there was abuse by a nursery teacher at a nursery school, and filed a criminal complaint this month.



The Metropolitan Police Department received a consultation the year before, and it was found that there was a suspicion that he was injured from multiple eyewitness testimony.



In response to the investigation, he denied the charges, saying, "I have hugged him as a physical contact, but I don't remember hurting him."



Regarding the arrest of the former employee, the nursery school's lawyer commented, "I apologize to the children, parents, and everyone involved. I will fully cooperate with the investigation."
