Previously convicted

In recent years, former movie mogul Harvey Weinstein has been accused of multiple sexual assaults and rapes.

Especially in connection with the digging report by the New York Times that became the #metoo movement's viral starting point in 2017.

In 2020, Weinstein was sentenced to 23 years in prison for sexually assaulting and raping two different women in New York.

A sentence he has since been granted to appeal.

In the fall of 2022, a new trial began in Los Angeles with another series of accusations of abuse and rape.

It resulted in Weinstein being convicted of raping yet another woman in December.

During Thursday, a judge is expected to announce the sentence.
