With the dedication of a health

The dedication and dedication of a health worker is indisputable: nurses, doctors, assistants... I recently had to spend time in the hospital accompanying my daughter and at night trying to catch up on work.

The incessant coming and going of the nurses at night with their mobile flashlights was like perfect synchronicity.

I was in a pediatric ICU in Madrid and I don't think I've ever seen a human group as dedicated and lubricated as that.

In addition to his technical expertise, his closeness, listening and humility caught my attention;

his teamwork and being available for any need, including his help so that he could continue working.

It is rare because it is unusual that such qualified professionals with such a high level of excellence are capable of putting themselves in the shoes of the patient and their relatives.

Always with a smile, availability and delivery.

If we could transfer part of these qualities to our day to day... How good it would be for us if we were like a health worker in the exercise of his profession.

Motherhood cannot be a heroic act

Headmaster:

Some estimates indicate that more than half of the women who go to health centers to have an abortion claim economic or work problems.

The decision to become a mother in Spain exposes them to discrimination, and that must be addressed politically.

Women between the ages of 16 and 34 with children are much more likely to be unemployed than those without.

Between the ages of 25 and 34, mothers earn less than women who do not have children.

If it is about guaranteeing the freedom of women, then we must offer them all the information, all the necessary accompaniment, and prevent being a mother from requiring a heroic effort or accepting possible discrimination.

The god of rescuers

Headmaster:

!” rescuers in Syria and Turkey shout, giving thanks to Allah. Sick of hearing this same expression from terrorists and murderers, I am glad to hear it from these other believers who are able to honor their faith with acts of kindness.

I have never believed in a god that leads me to do harm.

In the God of these rescuers I do believe.

All that is noble in man is concentrated in his effort.
