According to it, police across the country intercepted 19,365 mobile phone calls and arrested 106 people in 24 cases such as drug trafficking and handgun possession last year.



Since 2000, when the law was enacted, the number of cases of wiretapping has reached a record high.



The Interception of Communications Act allows the investigative authorities to intercept telephone calls only when it is difficult to clarify by other means when investigating particularly serious and heinous incidents among organized crimes. , it is obliged to report the implementation status to the Diet.
