Children from the same elementary school in Wakayama City decided to act in a musical based on the episode "Small Hand Relay," in which children from an elementary school in Wakayama City supported a man who had lost his eyesight to commute by bus for many years. I received acting guidance from the members of the theater company before.

Hirotaka Yamazaki, an employee of Wakayama City who lost his eyesight due to an intractable disease, was supported by children at the elementary school attached to the Faculty of Education of Wakayama University for more than 10 years when he got on and off the bus he used to commute. It is called and told in picture books.

At the elementary school, a musical was created based on this episode, and it was decided to show it to Mr. Yamazaki and his parents on the 21st of this month. .

The children were given an explanation of how blind people use a cane called a white cane. I learned the importance of being supportive.

Ao Miyagaki, a third-year student who plays the main girl, said, "I want to act so that people will think it's amazing because it's a story that elementary school can be proud of."

In addition, Tsubasa Nishimura, a sixth-year student who will play the role of Mr. Yamazaki, said, "I want to act while thinking about how a blind person walks and how they feel."
