Before 11:00 pm on the 14th, when a fire broke out at the house of Masayuki Nakata (61) in Kamimaiki, Miharu-machi, the house notified the fire department.
Eight fire engines and other vehicles were dispatched to extinguish the fire, and the fire was extinguished after about 40 minutes. .
According to the police and fire department, Mr. Nakata and his wife are living together in this house, but they have not been able to contact them since the fire.
Police are investigating the cause of the fire, as well as confirming that the couple may have died.
The site is a residential area about 5 kilometers southwest of the Miharu Town Hall.
