In a series of wide-area robbery cases, an elderly woman was murdered at a house in Komae City, Tokyo. Based on the analysis of security camera footage and footprints at the scene, the Metropolitan Police Department was arrested in a different case. The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the footsteps of the three people on the day with a view to filing a case on suspicion of robbery and murder.
Last month, in a robbery murder case in which Iyo Oshio (90) was killed at a house in Komae City, Tokyo, the Metropolitan Police Department is investigating in detail the movements before and after the incident of the rental car that was seized as being used for the crime.
In the investigation so far, Rikuto Nagata (21), who was arrested for a robbery injury that occurred in Nakano Ward in Tokyo, went to a facility in Tokyo with this rental car on the night of the Komae City incident and stayed overnight. However, an interview with investigative officials revealed that two other people were in the car and that three people were staying at the facility.
In addition, it was confirmed from security camera footage that the three were in the vicinity of the same rental car in Kanagawa Prefecture just before the incident. It means that some people are believed to have worn shoes with matching manufacturers and characteristics.
Of the two suspects other than Nagata, one was later arrested as a suspect in an attempted robbery-murder case that occurred in Hiroshima City, and the other was arrested on suspicion of using a forged license in Ishikawa Prefecture. It means that there is
