  According to the police from the Beijing South Railway Station Police Station of the Beijing Railway Public Security Department, at about 12:00 on February 2, when the G2584 passenger train bound for Beijing South Railway Station from Taizhou was running to the section between Dezhou East and Tianjin South Railway Station, a man named Wu (49 years old) Walking to the junction of No. 11 to No. 12 carriages of the train to smoke, the train staff stopped immediately after being discovered, and did not cause the high-speed train to slow down.

Subsequently, the train staff notified the train police in time.

  After receiving the alarm, the train police rushed to the scene in time to deal with it.

At 13:17 on the same day, the G2584 passenger train arrived at the terminal station of Beijing South Railway Station. The police from the Beijing South Railway Station Police Station who received the police report rushed to the platform to handover with the police in advance, and took the man Wu back to the Beijing South Railway Station Police Station for processing.

  It is reported that the Beijing Railway Police imposed an administrative fine of 500 yuan on Wu for allegedly violating Article 77(14) and Article 95 of the "Regulations on Railway Safety Management".

  The Beijing Railway Police reminded that smoking is prohibited throughout the high-speed train, please abide by the management regulations on smoking in the carriages, and violators will be severely punished by law.
