Jon Henrik Fjällgren has previously participated in the Melodifestivalen three times and all times he has been one of the favorites who made it to the final.

This year he is joined by DJ and music producer Arc North and singer, songwriter and music producer Adam Woods, who together compete with the EDM song "Where are you (Sávežan)".

About the daughter

In his intermediate contribution, Jon Henrik Fjällgren pays tribute to his two-year-old daughter, who currently lives with her mother in Northern Norway.

The Sami word "Sávejan" in the song title means "my little Sáve", where the daughter's name is hidden.

- My daughter's name is Ella Sáve, and that's where it was built from.

It's about my love for her, what it was like to become a father, also the feeling of being a little away, says Jon Henrik Fjällgren.

He talks about the strength his daughter gives him when he is with her and how it inspired the song.

And that they now cheer together.

- She loves jojk.

She has already learned to sing, two years old.

I am completely fascinated by her.

So we have like a little orchestra when I'm up there.

A joy to life

This year's contribution is also a joy to life and that people need more love around them, says Jon Henrik Fjällgren.

- There are so many boring things happening in the world.

And I believe that the key to freedom and goodness is the bond of love, which we have lost a little.

So it's a pretty big song personally.
