According to the police, the man got into a fight with a bear about 2 meters in length that suddenly appeared while working with four people, and was injured by biting his fingers, arms and legs.

The police are investigating the detailed situation because the bear tumbled down the slope after getting into a scuffle.



The site is a mountain forest in the eastern part of Hakodate City, and there is a lodging facility about 600 meters away, and the city has set up signs to call attention to bears.
