During the Spring Festival, the "China's largest lantern array" Jiuqu Yellow River Lantern Array was lit up in Wulan Ancient Town, Jiantan Town, Ganzhou District, Zhangye City, Gansu Province, attracting many citizens and tourists to watch.

  It is reported that the "Jiuqu Yellow River Lantern Array" is a historical and cultural heritage that has been handed down for thousands of years in Gucheng Village, Jiantan Town, Ganzhou District. It originated in the Yin and Shang Dynasties and has a thousand-year history of inheritance.

  The lantern array covers an area of ​​150 mu, and the tourist trail in the array is 2.4 kilometers long. According to the Jiugong Bagua, there are nine halls, and 365 bright lanterns are set up under the banner, representing 365 industries or 365 days.

There are also more than 700 cultural walls, each of which is integrated with traditional Chinese culture, including twenty-eight constellations, twenty-four solar terms, twelve zodiac signs, five elements and four images, etc. Many local cultural elements along the Silk Road allow tourists to watch traditional cultural activities such as fireworks, social fire performances, and folk performances while watching lanterns, marching in formations, and praying for blessings.

  The lantern array was identified as a provincial intangible cultural heritage of Gansu Province, and in 2019, it was recognized as "the largest lantern array in China" by the Shanghai World Guinness Headquarters.
