The final acceptance of the Ueno Zoo's female giant panda "Shang Shan", which will be returned to China on the 21st of this month, will begin on the afternoon of the 3rd.

Ueno Zoo's female giant panda "Xianxiang", who is now 5 years old and of breeding age, will be returned on the 21st of this month under an agreement with China, which holds the ownership.

Ueno Zoo has been using a lottery system since last month to avoid overcrowding in the zoo due to an increase in the number of people who want to see it before its return. Lottery acceptance will begin on the 19th and the day before that on the 18th.

It is only accepted on the Internet, and you can apply for up to two people by choosing one slot from 13 slots for each hour set for each day.

Up to 2,600 people can win a day, and junior high school students and younger can see up to 4 people without lottery if they accompany the winner.

Registration closes at 1:00pm on June 6th.
