In Côte d'Ivoire, the appeal trial of 12 relatives of former Prime Minister Guillaume Soro is being held.

In Senegal the opponent Ousmane Sonko was to appear this morning in court in Dakar for defamation against the Senegalese Minister of Tourism.

The case was eventually adjourned to February 16.
