Eva Green simply felt "humiliated" by reading private WhatsApp messages in court.

The actress is currently in lawsuit against the production company White Lantern to which she claims a million dollars under the terms of a contract signed for a film entitled

A Patriot

which ultimately never saw the light of day.

In their defence, the representatives of the firm rightly accuse the star of

Casino Royale

of having precipitated the failure of the feature film by withdrawing from the casting.

And it is to support this argument that text messages sent by Eva Green were presented at the bar.

We thus discover that the star describes the project as a “shitty B-movie”, while taxing one of the producers as a “demon”, and the film crew as “hicks”.

A low blow which the actress did not expect as revealed by

.

A film doomed to failure

“I did not expect my WhatsApp messages to be exposed in court.

It's already very humiliating,” Eva Green told the court, when asked to respond to White Lantern's lawyer after her comments were disclosed.

Messages that she readily qualifies as “very direct”, and being the expression of her “French side”.

Finally, regarding her departure from the project, Eva Green defended herself by describing a production that was chaotic to say the least and, according to her, doomed to failure.

"It was like an imaginary movie," she said.

A settling of scores in court which should continue for some time after an already eventful first week of hearings.
