[Explanation] The 2023 Cross-Strait Folk Culture Festival with the theme of "Folk Customs, Good Luck, Lucky Rabbits for the New Year" kicked off on February 2 in Liangcuo, Fuzhou, a characteristic historical and cultural block.
Nearly a hundred intangible cultural heritage folk arts from both sides of the strait were showcased, further promoting the excellent traditional Chinese culture and enhancing the national identity of compatriots on both sides of the strait.
[Explanation] Early in the morning, the characteristic historical and cultural district of Liangcuo was crowded with people. The folk parade brought together representative local folk programs of Fuzhou, attracting many citizens and tourists to stop and watch, and feel the charm of folk culture up close.

[Explanation] In Jiang Ying's view, the folk culture on both sides of the strait has the same root and origin. By participating in the cross-strait folk culture festival, the public can experience the charm of folk customs at close range and promote the spiritual harmony of compatriots on both sides of the strait.

[Explanation] On the same day, more than 20 Matsu folks came to Fuzhou to participate in the event through the two-horse "mini-three links" route.
