A clerk of the Odawara branch of the Yokohama District Court received disciplinary action for a salary reduction for verbally abusing a suspect who was being questioned in court, saying, "I don't like it" and "I'll take it back."

According to the Yokohama District Court, a clerk who was present at the "detention question" procedure held at the Odawara branch in January last year said to the suspect, "Don't you feel good," and "I'll take it back." that it was repeated.



The court was proceeding with an investigation after receiving a report from a suspect that he had been verbally abused.

Inquiries from the public prosecutor's office are also "stupid"

In addition to this, the clerk said that when he received a phone call from a public prosecutor's office employee in September last year, he said "stupid" and hung up.



The clerk acknowledged his remarks, and on the 2nd of this month, the district court reduced his salary by 10% and took disciplinary action for one month.



The district court did not disclose the clerk's age or gender, as it would lead to the identification of the person.
