According to the Ctrip platform, air ticket prices dropped sharply after the Spring Festival holiday.

So far, the average price of a one-way air ticket departing this week is 926 yuan, which is 20% lower than the average price during the Spring Festival of the Year of the Rabbit.

In addition, data from Tongcheng Travel shows that since January, with the popularity of film and television dramas such as "Hurricane", "To a Windy Place", and "Man Jianghong", the search interest in Jiangmen has increased by nearly 130% month-on-month. Dali's search popularity has increased by more than 3 times.

Driven by the dual drive of film and television dramas and cultural tourism, a number of scenic spots related to film and television dramas, such as Shaxi Ancient Town and Fengyang Town in Dali, Yunnan, Xuding Old Street, Shuibutou, Xinshi in the Changdi Historical and Cultural District of Jiangmen, Guangdong Road, Youth Square, etc., traffic and popularity are rising steadily.

A search on the Ctrip app shows that air tickets to Hong Kong and Macau from all over the country have dropped significantly compared to the Spring Festival period. It only costs about 1,000 yuan to travel from Shanghai to Hong Kong and Macau, more than 1,500 yuan to Beijing to and from Hong Kong, and more than 1,200 yuan per person to fly to Macau.

In Thailand, the price of a direct flight from Shanghai to Phuket in February is 1,600 yuan, and that from Nanjing to Phuket is 2,000 yuan, which is a sharp drop compared to the price of about 7,000 to 10,000 yuan during the Spring Festival.

With the flight resumption and encrypted news, the return of Chinese tourists to the global market is also expected.

According to Ctrip statistics, as of the end of January, there were more than 40 domestic outbound resumption routes in February, and the average weekly resumption of flights exceeded 140.

Among them, routes to Asian destinations accounted for more than 80%, and only Hong Kong, Macau and Thailand rescheduled flights accounted for more than 40%.

In addition, from the price point of view, the price of 30% of the flights is lower than the average transaction price in the same period in 2019, and about 10% of the flights are even more than 30% cheaper than in 2019.

The outbound group tour business is about to be resumed on a pilot basis. Travel agencies and online travel companies can carry out outbound group tours and "air ticket + hotel" business.
