In a series of wide-area robberies, the Metropolitan Police Department newly arrested a 31-year-old self-employed suspect in a case where about 30 million yen in cash was stolen in Nakano Ward, Tokyo last year.
The suspect was also arrested on suspicion of being involved in a robbery injury incident in Inagi City, and the Metropolitan Police Department is investigating that some members joined groups in various places and caused multiple incidents.
The suspect was Ken Maeshiro (31), a self-employed person living in Sendai.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, it is suspected that he broke into a house in Nakano Ward, Tokyo last December, injured a resident by punching his face, and stole about 30 million yen in cash.
He was the sixth person arrested in this case, and Maejo was arrested on suspicion of selling stolen gold bars in a robbery injury case that occurred in Inagi City, Tokyo last October.
In the cases of Nakano Ward and Inagi City, it is known from the statements of the arrested members that a person named "Kim" gave instructions.
The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating that some members joined various groups and caused multiple incidents under the direction of "Luffy" and "Kim".
