Hong Kong and the Mainland began to "clear customs" gradually, orderly and comprehensively from January 8.
Many families, relatives and friends who were separated from the two places were able to reunite again to celebrate the Spring Festival. I was very moved to see these warm scenes.
"Customs clearance" also facilitates the business community and different people to more easily handle different businesses in Hong Kong and the Mainland, discuss with business partners about long-term cooperation plans, or even just get together and socialize, all of which can be done by taking the high-speed rail.
Industries such as tourism, retail and catering are the first to benefit from the buoyant consumer sentiment, while Hong Kong's overall economic momentum has also strengthened significantly, which is greatly conducive to the productivity and recovery of various industries.
[Explanation] Li Jiachao said that with the resumption of cross-border flow of people, cooperation between Hong Kong and the mainland and the world will become more frequent.
Large-scale trade exhibitions, conferences, sports events, various competitions and other large-scale international events will be held in Hong Kong one after another, fully demonstrating Hong Kong's role as the event capital of Asia.
It is hoped that the Hong Kong business community will work with the SAR government to expand more business opportunities for Hong Kong.

The SAR government team will also actively visit outside Hong Kong, and work with the business community to promote Hong Kong's business advantages and tell a good story about Hong Kong.
Last month, ACCCIM organized a business delegation to Vietnam together with Director Yau Ying-wah of the Bureau of Commerce and Economic Development to promote exchanges, connections and cooperation between Hong Kong and the local area.
