The night outlined the square in orange and bullfighting decked it out with red carpets.

The great event of San Isidro 2023 dressed in long, a round fair.

The expectation was already felt in the Grande with a little corridor of expectation like the one that precedes the exits on the shoulders before the crowd swirls.

At 7:10 p.m., personalities, beautiful people, others not so much, celebrities and politicians and figures from the present and the past were already parading through the photocall: Ortega Cano got up early with his sunglasses and his daughter Gloria Camila on his arm.

More than an hour later -the thing started late at around 8:25 p.m.-, the businessmen from Las Ventas, Rafael García Garrido and Simón Casas sang -before María Toledo and Omar Montes- their love for Isabel Díaz Ayuso, who had entered marking a heel, in a pink cape, in the ring after posing next to mayor Almeida on that firing squad of graphic informers: "He will always be part of the army that you need," said the French producer 215 years after May 2, 1808 Garrido added carrying luck in bullfighting: "The love of bullfighting is unique and bullfighting is like love that is always more beautiful than what is dreamed of."

A bit smug to exalt and praise the categorical stature of the San Isidro fair in which Morante, El Juli, Talavante and Roca Rey will parade three afternoons.

The president, already as a finishing touch, at the end of the act exhibited her power and dropped the bomb: Telemadrid (and it seems that Onetoros) will broadcast the San Isidro fair.

The regional channel will broadcast live 14 of the 23 afternoons that the supposedly new operator will stream.

David Casas entertained the wait in the marker video, interviewing the Mexican Pedro Haces - "as a partner of Plaza 1" -;

to El Juli - "with desire, enthusiasm, uncertainty and respect" before his three afternoons;

to Emilio de Justo - "something big is going to happen" -;

El Fandi, Robleño... José María Manzanares also before leaving the tent to smoke.

Talavante bumped into him at the Puerta Grande.

So until Mariló Montero and Roberto Gómez - professional couple of unbalanced beauty - turned on their microphones to conduct the gala.

That began with the awards once they were located in their places Tebas -Ambassador of Bullfighting award-, Rocío Monasterio and Iván Espinosa de los Monteros, María Dolores de Cospedal, Pilar Vega de Anzo, Enrique Cerezo, Miguel Abellán, Enrique López, Juan José Padilla among other pirates.

The first surprise was that Victoria Federica collected the award for bullfighter of the season on behalf of Andrés Roca Rey: "He asked me as a friend. I admire him inside and outside the bullring."

And she spoke of his connection with youth and the new generations.

And then she went back on stage to collect her own award-"Youth and Bullfighting"-from José María Manzanares: "Inheritance from my family, from my grandfather and especially from my mother."

The gala already bore her name.

The prelude to the awards -despite the emotional part of Pastora Vega, the justice of awarding Victoriano del Río and Emilio de Justo- extended the gala between metaverses and some blushes until the essential part as if it were an endless, eternal desert.

It is true, as Garrido said, that the presentations before were sad.

But, wow, how important is the sense of measure in bullfighting.
