According to the WeChat account "Taihao Fuxi Mausoleum" of the Taihao Mausoleum Cultural Relics Protection Center in Huaiyang District, Zhoukou City, Henan Province, Taihao Fuxi Mausoleum issued a "Concerning the Uncivilized Behavior of Tourists in the Taihao Mausoleum Yuezhongwu Temple" on the evening of January 30. "Explanation" stated that whipping the statue of Qin Hui should not be "extreme", and don't vent your hatred on the statue.

The public security department has accepted the case.

In front of the main hall of Yue Zhongwu Temple (Yue Feiguan), one of the scenic spots in Taihao Mausoleum, there are kneeling statues of Qin Hui and other five ministers recast in 1985.

At around 14:10 on January 29, a tourist suddenly became emotional during the tour of Yue Fei. He stood on the incense burner in front of Yue Fei and shouted: "Give me back my rivers and mountains."

The staff of the scenic spot tried to dissuade them repeatedly, but the tourist not only refused to listen, but also forcibly raised the iron plate covering the incense burner to smash Qin Hui and other cast iron kneeling statues, and stood on the base of the kneeling statues and asked, "Who will come next?" He left the scene under strong persuasion.

The staff immediately called the police, and the public security department has accepted the case.

After inspection by the staff of the scenic spot, the cast iron kneeling statue was not damaged (the cast iron kneeling statue is a modern imitation, not a historical relic).

After the incident, the management department of the scenic spot attached great importance to it and focused on three aspects:

  One is positive guidance, increasing the publicity of Yue Fei's deeds, and expanding the gate of the Yue Fei Deeds Exhibition Hall, so that tourists can visit and learn about Yue Fei's deeds of serving the country with loyalty;

The second is to install guardrails next to the kneeling statues of Qin Hui, and at the same time increase security forces, organize tourists to queue up for orderly visits, guide tourists to travel in a civilized manner, and prevent similar uncivilized behaviors from happening again.

The third is to actively encourage tourists to abide by social public order and social morality in tourism activities, respect local customs, cultural traditions and religious beliefs, care for tourism resources, protect the ecological environment, and abide by the norms of tourism civilized behavior.

The above situation explains that civilized tourism cannot be forgotten.

Beating the statue of Qin Hui cannot be "extreme", don't vent your hatred on the statue.

"Facing the statue of Qin Hui, the most sensible approach is to unify the inner 'strike' and external protection. This is the real progress of civilization."

Yue Zhongwu Temple was first built in the Ming Dynasty, commonly known as "Yue Fei Temple".

Yue Fei was a famous anti-golden general in the Southern Song Dynasty. Why did he stand up and worship in Taihao Mausoleum?

Taihao Fuxi Mausoleum specifically explained that Huaiyang was called Chenzhou in ancient times and was located in the Central Plains. It was a battleground for military strategists in history. During the Southern Song Dynasty, it was repeatedly invaded by Jin soldiers.

In the fourth year of King Kang (AD 1130), Jin Bing Wang Shan led his troops to encircle Chen. Yue Fei fought in Qinghe, captured his generals Sun Sheng and Sun Qing, and solved the encirclement of Chen.

In the sixth year of Shaoxing (1136 A.D.), the Jin people invaded the Central Plains in the south again, and Yue Fei dispatched Wang Gui to defeat the Jin army and recover Chenzhou.

In the tenth year of Shaoxing (AD 1140), Jin Wushu invaded Tokyo and Chenzhou fell.

The people of Huaiyang are grateful for Yue Fei's contribution to returning to Chen, so they built Yue Fei Temple here.

In 2022, an exhibition of Yue Fei's deeds will be added in the scenic spot, and many parents will take their children to remember heroes, admire heroes, defend heroes, and learn from heroes.
