According to the latest news released on the official website of the Shanxi Provincial Department of Transportation, after the drowning incident, the Pinglu County Transportation Bureau immediately launched an emergency plan for water search and rescue. For water rescue, a comprehensive multi-channel interception and rescue point is formed.
At the same time, the Pinglu County Transportation Bureau organized maritime affairs, traffic law enforcement, and ferry crews along the route to fully cooperate with the Yantai Salvage Bureau of the Ministry of Transport and the Sanmenxia City Transportation and Maritime Affairs Department of Henan Province to search and rescue the waters near Yuezhuang Ferry.
