A unique platform in France for contacting emergency services has been set up in Haute-Savoie.

In Meythet, over 500m2, the Samu and firefighters are grouped together in a center for processing and regulating emergency calls (CTRA).

Common software has been used by the two entities since 2011, allowing each to retrieve the information recorded by the other, explains

.

With each call, the symptoms entered a program resulting in a series of questions and answers.

A pathology hypothesis is then formulated and a solution can be provided.

In addition to emergencies, the platform coordinates the activity of private ambulances, the county council's remote alarm service and the 115 managed by the Red Cross, which responds to requests for emergency accommodation.

A social listening platform managed by the county council is also being tested on site.

“It's a wealth to have these sets of services.

We have a panel which allows us to have a maximum of answers for the applicants, ”welcomed the manager of Samu 74 Thierry Roupioz.
