A special effects movie preview was held in Sukagawa City, Fukushima Prefecture, where children challenged themselves to create and shoot dioramas.

Sukagawa City is known as the birthplace of Eiji Tsuburaya, a leading expert in special photography technology who created the world of Ultraman and Godzilla.

In order to get children interested in special effects, the city planned a "special effects cram school" from June last year. I have tried editing etc.

On the 28th, a preview of the completed work was held at Sukagawa City Hall, and about 50 people, including junior high and high school students and their parents, participated.

The work is about the egg of a monster called "Yoroiger" discovered at a shrine, and the monster that hatches from the egg rampages and destroys the city hall.

The children were fascinated by the realistic images, such as the diorama of the city hall that was collapsing while dust was rising.

After the preview screening, the children were handed their diplomas by film director Kiyotaka Taguchi, who was an instructor at the Tokusatsu cram school.

The second-year high school girl who designed the monster said, "I participated because I like monsters. The scene where the monster I designed takes shape and destroys the city hall was very powerful and I'm glad." I was.

Mr. Taguchi said, ``I hope that Sukagawa will continue to be a base for special effects.''

The film will be released to the public at a later date.
