American police rescue a man who stole one of their cars seconds before he was crushed by a train (video)

Police in the US state of Georgia rescued a man who stole a patrol car seconds before a train hit it.

The man had stolen the police car, which triggered a manhunt for his arrest.

However, he lost control of the car, which overturned on the train tracks, so the police intervened and managed to pull the man out of the car and save him seconds before the train arrived.

The Atlanta Police Department said the driver was charged with theft, escape and evasion, reckless driving, obstruction and damage to city property.
