The Al Ain International Film Festival revealed that the winning scenarios in the second edition of the "Abu Dhabi Festival for Unexecuted Screenplay" competition for short films, with the support of the "Abu Dhabi Festival", the strategic cultural partner, which went to young Emirati writers, are: the scenario of "Al-Mizan" by Ali Lari, and the scenario Its “text” is written by Sultan Bin Davon, and the “Tuffaha” scenario is written by Khalaf Jamal Al-Fayrouz, which was implemented and transferred from paper to the golden screen.

The "Emirati Short Falcon" will be shown in the official competition in the fifth session of the "Al Ain International Film Festival", which will be held from the sixth to the 11th of next February.

The competition, which was launched during the last session of the "Al Ain Film Festival", aims to reveal new talents that will create a new generation of Emirati writers to enrich local content with topics presented to cinema and create a creative situation.

The winning scenarios were selected by a specialized arbitration committee, which was chaired by Emirati director and writer Saleh Karama, with a member of the committee, screenwriter, Emirati director Dr. Hussein Ibrahim.

Each scenario won a prize of 20,000 dirhams, which went to the screenwriter, which helped the writers in the process of transforming the scenarios into cinematic works with serious and purposeful content.

The director and founder of Al Ain International Film Festival, Amer Salmeen Al Marri, expressed his happiness at the continued cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Festival, one of the most prominent cultural events leading locally and globally, as the strategic and cultural partner of the festival. The script must be original and written directly to the cinema, or taken from a published literary work, and the text of the film must be fictional and not documentary, and the submitted scenario must cover a viewing period of no more than 30 minutes.

Al-Marri added, "The festival received in the second edition of the competition a large number of distinguished scenarios, which heralds the birth of an elite group of new young authors in this field, whose launch will be through (Abu Dhabi Festival for Unexecuted Scripts)", wishing success to the winning scriptwriters in the edition.
