Amidst the challenge of improving the treatment of people working in the field of nursing care, the results of a labor union survey have been compiled that although the salaries of nursing care workers are increasing, 60% of them are not satisfied.

As the shortage of workers at nursing care sites becomes more serious, the government is promoting the expansion of nursing care rewards in order to improve the treatment of staff. I investigated.

The scheduled salary, including basic salary, of the more than 2,100 union members who responded that it would depend on that, last year averaged 261,018 yen per month, an increase of 10,060 yen from the previous year.

On the other hand, when asked whether they are satisfied with their current wages,

7.7% said they were

satisfied, 27.8% said they were somewhat satisfied, and

41.5% said they were a little dissatisfied

. “Very dissatisfied” was 20.9%.

More than 60% said they were "slightly dissatisfied" and "extremely dissatisfied", and when asked why with multiple answers,

44.3% answered "because it is not commensurate with the current amount of work", and

▽ "more than the social average wage." Because I think it's low" is 40.9%.

The Japan Nursing Care Craft Union said, ``The labor shortage at nursing care sites is serious, and it is necessary to take measures such as raising wages as soon as possible. I also want to ask the government to raise nursing care fees."
