In Ishikawa Prefecture, water pipes have been frozen and ruptured one after another due to the cold wave, and water supply has been cut off in various places since the 26th of this month.

When NHK interviewed each municipality in Ishikawa Prefecture, as of 6:00 am on the 30th, there were 4 cities and towns with water outages: Kahoku City, Wajima City, Houdatsushimizu Town, and Shika Town, totaling 4384. It's the door.

As of the evening of the 29th, approximately 5,400 households in Kahoku City had their water supply cut off, and progress has been made in identifying places where water is leaking, such as vacant houses. As a result, it became possible to send water in stages from the 29th, and the water outage was reduced to 2320 households.

Also, in Wajima City and Shika Town, the water outage was partially resolved from the night of the 29th to the morning of the 30th.

On the other hand, in Hakui City, where all the water outages on the 29th have been resolved, it is necessary to conduct a water quality test, so the city is calling on people not to drink water and will continue to set up water stations.
