The day after the robbery murder of a 90-year-old woman at a house in Komae City, Tokyo, in Adachi Ward, where it was confirmed that the rental car that was believed to have been used in the crime was confirmed, I called in advance to check the asset status. Interviews with investigative officials revealed that there was a suspicion that an "appointment robbery" was being planned to break into a house.

Police are investigating whether these incidents are related.

In the robbery-murder case in which Iyo Oshio (90) was murdered at a house in Komae, Tokyo on January 19, the rental car believed to have been used in the crime was found driving in Adachi Ward the day after the incident. Knowing that, the Metropolitan Police Department arrested Rikuto Nagata (21), who was in the car, on suspicion of being involved in a robbery injury that occurred in Nakano Ward last year.

In Nagata's mobile phone message, in addition to the place name "Komae City", multiple addresses in Adachi Ward were left, but one of the residents told the Metropolitan Police Department, "From a stranger. I received a phone call and was asked about my assets, and I answered that I kept a large amount of cash at home."

Residents left their homes on the advice of police officers and evacuated, but the day after the incident in Komae City, someone actually broke into their homes.

The Metropolitan Police Department suspected that an "appointment telephone robbery" was planned in Adachi Ward the day after the Komae City incident, confirming the asset status in advance by phone and breaking into houses. We are investigating the relationship between the three incidents.

In addition, according to investigative sources, there is a suspicion that a person calling himself "Luffy" gave instructions in several incidents, including the Komae City and Nakano Ward incidents, as well as the robbery injury incident that occurred in Inagi City last year. So, the police authorities are requesting the local authorities to hand over 4 or 5 Japanese people, believing that a Japanese detained in a Philippine immigration facility called himself "Luffy" and issued instructions from the facility.
