Forecasters predict that the effect of cyclones and precipitation is expected in the capital region next week.

In an interview with RT, Anatoly Tsygankov, deputy head of the situational center of Roshydromet, said that another cyclone is affecting the Moscow region.

“Therefore, the weather in general will be overcast and relatively warm, slightly above normal.

Today and tomorrow it will be colder -2...-6 °C during the day, and at night within -3...-6 °C,” he said.

Temperatures will rise by Monday, according to the weatherman.

“It is expected to be 0...-5 °С, from Tuesday to Thursday even 0...+1 °С.

But precipitation is forecast in the form of snow and sleet,” he explained.

In turn, the head of the Meteo forecasting center, Alexander Shuvalov, in an interview with RT, said that the current “inexpressive and boring” weather is likely to end this week.

According to him, cloudy weather is expected on Saturday and Sunday (January 28 and 29), at night the temperature will be -8 ° C at night and -3 ° C during the day.

According to him, next week the cyclones will be more active.

“We will have a good drop in pressure by Tuesday - Wednesday to 735-732 mm, the wind will rise, it will snow more thoroughly from Monday to Wednesday.

And at the end of the week without snow will not do.

The temperature in the second half of next week may rise to 0...+2 °С,” he added.

In addition, the Phobos Center reported that the atmospheric front that passed through the capital region refreshed the snow cover.

As weather forecasters specified, in the south of the region, the snow depth remained practically unchanged, and in the central regions it increased by about 1-2 cm. In the north, the snow cover increased by 2-3 cm.
