Actress Jutta Speidel (68) advises women to work on their personality rather than undergo cosmetic surgery.

"I find it discriminatory how some women present themselves externally, whether it's puffy lips, puffy breasts, puffy buttocks.

Everything has been operated on," said Speidel at the "Women 100" event in Berlin.

"I think that's becoming more and more."

Women without a lot of self-esteem are given the wrong image, according to the native of Munich.

"They believe that they have to look like that in order to be accepted by a man." Instead, she advised: "Become a great woman who is attentive, who treats others well, who shows human dignity."

The meeting on Thursday evening in the Hotel Adlon dealt with the topic of equality.

"Frauen100" sees itself as a network for women from politics, business, media, sports and entertainment.

Among others, the actresses Alexandra Maria Lara, Ursula Karven and Natalia Wörner, the director and screenwriter Anika Decker and the politicians Dorothee Bär (CSU) and Franziska Giffey (SPD) came.
