Around 8:00 am on the 27th, on the national highway in Kitamoto City, Saitama Prefecture, after the trailer collided with multiple passenger cars, it plunged into the premises of the house and stopped after hitting the house.

Three people in the passenger car were injured, and no pedestrians or residents were injured.

Around 8:00 a.m., on National Route 17 in Miyauchi, Kitamoto City, a trailer crossed the median strip, crossed into the opposite lane, and collided with multiple passenger cars.



The trailer then drove past a roadside parking lot and onto a residential lot, where it came to a halt.



According to the police, three people in their 50s to 70s who were in the passenger car were injured and taken to the hospital.



According to the fire department, the three people were conscious, and there were no injuries to residents or pedestrians.



Police arrested Kohei Ogiwara (31), the driver of the trailer in Tsurumi Ward, Yokohama City, on suspicion of negligent driving injury and are investigating the details.



The site is a national highway lined with shops and houses, about one kilometer east of Kitamoto Station on the JR Takasaki Line.

A man who witnessed the accident from inside the house said, ``I heard a terrible noise, so when I opened the curtains, the trailer collided with the car in the parking lot and ran. I was surprised and prayed for it to stop.It stopped without hitting my house, but I didn't think it would cause such a terrible accident."
