On the 26th, a local gourmet dish made with rolled sushi, "Sujiko Natto", one of the favorite dishes of Osamu Dazai, a great writer from Goshogawara City, Aomori Prefecture, was unveiled.

This sushi roll, named “Dazai no Ehomaki,” was devised by Sanchoku Meros, a tourist product center in the Kanagi district of Goshogawara City.

The sujiko natto used in sushi rolls is a combination of sujiko marinated in soy sauce and ground natto, and is characterized by the rich flavor of sujiko and the gentle texture of natto.

One of Dazai's favorite dishes, such as appearing in Dazai's short story collection "HUMAN LOST", "Dazai's Ehomaki" is a dish made by wrapping this sujiko natto and cucumber with seaweed and vinegared rice. About 4 cm and 10 cm long.

"Sanchoku Melos" will sell only 10 packs every day for 3 days from the 3rd of Setsubun next month.

Mr. Nobuto Shibuya, who is in charge of the cafeteria department of "Sanchoku Meros", said, "There are not many combinations of sujiko and natto, so I would like everyone to try it once."
