Emmanuel Pellerin, deputy for the 9th district of Hauts-de-Seine, admitted having used drugs, in particular cocaine, before and after his election to the Palais-Bourbon, as reported by

"I took drugs again the weekend when we celebrated my investiture in July and after that it was over," admitted Emmanuel Pellerin to our colleagues.

The deputy explains that he made the "biggest bullshit of his life". 

Facts "contrary to the values ​​defended by Renaissance"

Following these revelations, the Nanterre prosecutor's office opened a preliminary investigation for "use of narcotics", an offense punishable by one year's imprisonment and a fine of 3,750 euros.

"If the facts are proven, they seriously damage the image of Parliament but also of the party of which he is a member. They are also contrary in all respects to the values ​​that Renaissance defends", reacted Wednesday evening the spokesman of the party. presidential, Loïc Signor, as reported by our colleagues from

 "We will draw all the consequences during the executive committee which will meet on Monday and where Stéphane Séjourné will propose his immediate exclusion". 

An investigation closed without further action in September

This is not the first time that MP Emmanuel Pellerin has been in the sights of justice.

A first investigation, for "direct provocation of a minor to the illicit use of narcotics", was dismissed last September.

His 11-year-old son had told his psychologist that his father had presented him with a box containing narcotics at the end of July.

He explains that his gesture was "symbolic " and that he wanted to show his son that he no longer used drugs. Emmanuel Pellerin will be fixed on his fate within Renaissance next Monday, January 30, at the
