Following the strongest cold wave this winter, it is heavy snow this time.
This is the current state of Seocho-daero in Seoul at this time, and with such strong snow pouring, the road turned white in an instant.
Vehicles are not speeding up, and citizens moving on the road are moving their steps cautiously.
Currently, snow clouds are passing by not only in Seoul but also in the western region.
As strong snow of 1 to 3 cm per hour is pouring, more than 8 cm of snow has already been recorded in Incheon, and heavy snow warnings are in effect in various parts of the Midwest.
A lot of snow will continue a little more in the future.
In the west coast of Chungcheongnam-do, it is at most 10 cm or more.
2 to 7 cm of snow is predicted in southern Gyeonggi, Chungcheong, Honam and northern Gyeongbuk, and 1 to 5 cm in central and northern regions including Seoul.
It's snow falling in the cold, so it's frozen and the roads are quite slippery, so please pay attention to traffic safety.
On the other hand, the momentum of the cold has slowed down slightly.
Today (26th), the highest daytime temperature in Seoul will be 0 degrees, and Daejeon will be 2 degrees higher than yesterday by 5 to 7 degrees.
However, the temperature will drop significantly as the cold air enters again following the snow clouds. Tomorrow morning, Seoul will plummet to minus 9 degrees Celsius and the day after tomorrow to minus 12 degrees.
