A research company is looking for participants in an evaluation study to be paid $1,000 for eating cheese snacks before bed.

And Sleep Junkie in the USA announced that it is looking for five "dairy dreamers" for a study aimed at addressing the widely held belief that eating cheese or other dairy products before bed leads to nightmares.

The five selected recipients, according to the UPI agency, will be asked to eat specific amounts of dairy products, then track their sleep and provide written assessments of their sleep quality and energy level throughout the day, and reports of dreams and nightmares after eating various cheese products before bed.

"We also understand that it's not just nightmares that can disrupt a good night's sleep, so we wanted to find out if there was a connection between different types of cheese and other symptoms that can make you feel uncomfortable," company spokeswoman Dorothy Chambers said in the announcement. .

The study will continue for three months.

Applications are accepted until February 10.
