On January 22, local time, the first day of the first lunar month of the Lunar Year of the Rabbit, Niagara Falls, a famous scenic spot in Canada, lit up "Chinese red" at night, adding the finishing touch to the New Year here.

At Niagara Falls, about 130 kilometers away from Toronto, the lights on the shore switched to bright red, reflecting the water of the waterfall red.

The waterfall at night complements the ongoing winter light show on the local street, attracting tourists of different ethnicities who come to watch the night scene to stop and take pictures.

In downtown Toronto, the well-known landmark, the CN Tower (CN Tower), about 553 meters high, is quite eye-catching in the foggy night with its bright red lines drawn by lights.

This is the ninth consecutive year that the tower is shining red for the Chinese New Year.

Niagara Falls and the CN Tower are bright red, both of which are the highlights of the 2023 Toronto "Happy Chinese New Year" series of activities hosted by the Chinese Consulate General in Toronto.

With the arrival of the first month of the Year of the Rabbit, the "Happy Chinese New Year" event also ushered in a climax.
