Oscars Oscar 2023 nominations: all the keys
This Monday the nominations for the 95th edition of the Oscars have been announced.
The actress Ana de Armas has made a place for herself in the Oscar Award nominations in the category of Best Leading Actress for her role in 'Blondie', the 'biopic' of Marilyn Monroe.
The films 'All at once everywhere', 'All Quiet Front' and 'The Banshees at Inisherin', with 11 and nine nominations respectively, lead the race to the Oscars.
They are followed by 'Elvis' with eight nominations and 'Los Fabelmans' with six.
The disappointments of the nominations have been 'Avatar' with four nominations', which will not sweep the technical categories as expected.
'La Ballena' and 'Babylon' -with three nominations in minor categories each- will not shine at the big movie date either.
Those in charge of announcing the nominations for the Oscars have been the actor and producer Riz Ahmed and the actress Allison Williams.
We will have to wait until March 12 to find out the winners in a ceremony that this year will be presented by comedian
Jimmy Kimmel
and will be broadcast live on ABC.
Last year's edition, which featured Will Smith
slapping
host Chris Rock before winning the best actor award, attracted some 15.4 million viewers.
