Despite the fact that there is no rational basis, it is said that it violates the Act on Unjustifiable Premiums and Misleading Representations for selling supplements by advertising such as "easily bust-up" through SNS "Instagram" and Internet advertisements. The agency has ordered an internet shopping company in Tokyo to pay a surcharge of more than 111 million yen.

The order to pay the surcharge was "Assist", which operates an online shopping business in Toshima-ku, Tokyo.

According to the Consumer Affairs Agency, since March 2018, when advertising supplements for products on SNS "Instagram" and Internet advertisements, this company has been using words such as "#breast enlargement" and "easily bust up". It means that it was displayed as if the breast augmentation effect could be obtained only by it.

Of these, the advertisement on Instagram was so-called "stealth marketing" that hid the fact that it was an advertisement.

The Consumer Affairs Agency ordered the company to prevent recurrence, etc. on the grounds that it was a "misrecognition of good quality" under the Premiums and Representations Act because the company did not submit materials on the basis of the labeling, but on the 24th, a fine of 117.16 million yen was imposed ordered to pay.

Regarding receiving the order, the parent company of "Assist" said in an interview with NHK, "We are very sorry and will strive to create a system that will not let the same thing happen again."
