The former president of advertising giant ADK Holdings, who was indicted for bribing a former director of the organizing committee in a corruption case surrounding the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, has been released on bail.

The bail is 30 million yen, and according to the person concerned, it is a policy to admit the contents of the indictment at the first trial next month.

Shinichi Ueno, 68, former president of advertising giant ADK Holdings, was released on bail.



Former president Ueno offered a total of 14 million yen in bribes to defendant Haruyuki Takahashi (78), a former director of the Tokyo Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, as a reward for ADK's benefits in sponsorship contract work. The third bail request was granted by the court on the 23rd after being charged with bribery.



According to those involved, after being arrested in October last year, he consistently denied wrongdoing, but at the trial, he plans to admit the indicted content.



The bail amount is 30 million yen, and the full amount has been paid.



The former president's first trial is scheduled to be held on the 17th of next month.
