A deer weighing about 50 kg was found wandering in the "Kyoto Gyoen" in the center of Kyoto city, and was captured by the city and the police on the afternoon of the 23rd.

No one has been confirmed to have been injured so far.

According to Kyoto City, around 10:00 am on the 23rd, a staff member of the Kyoto Gyoen National Garden in Kamigyo Ward, Kyoto City contacted the city saying, ``There is a deer that seems to have wandered in.''

The deer, believed to be a male weighing about 50 kilograms, received a report and was captured by city officials and the police.

Initially, the deer took refuge in the woods near the clam gate, and although more than 30 people in charge tried to chase it down and secure it, it slipped through and ran away.

After that, the deer continued to run around and stand still while jumping around the garden.

About four hours after the capture work began, before 2:00 pm, he was captured by the city and police near the Imperial Palace Police Headquarters Kyoto Escort Station in the garden.

No injuries have been confirmed so far, according to the city and police.

Kyoto City says, ``I don't know where it got lost,'' and will release it in the mountains in the city on the 23rd.
