A romantic man will walk 1,800 kilometers to meet his "virtual lover"

A "romantic" man decided to walk 1,800 kilometers to meet his "virtual sweetheart", whom he does not know personally, but rather met on the "Tik Tok" platform.

The man decided to make his journey through Thailand on foot as an expression of love, as he aims to reach the woman he does not know personally before Valentine's Day next February.

The man did not mention the woman's name, but said on his account on the "Tik Tok" application that they met each other five months ago.

After leaving his home in Nakhon Nayok, Thailand, the man hopes to reach Satun in southern Thailand by February 15.

Speaking of his plans, he is set to walk all the way to "prove true love" to a woman he has never met before.

In one of his posts, he said: "I'm going to walk to prove whether or not true love exists." The man, who posts regular updates from his TikTok account, initially seemed ready for the trip but by the third day he had complained, according to the Daily Star. He was very tired and complained of muscle pain and said he would switch to walking at night.

So far, the man has covered about half the distance, but it is unclear if he will be able to complete the remaining 528 miles on foot. In a recent letter, he asked what his anonymous girlfriend would think, considering he would walk 1,200 miles on his peaks to see her.
