Beijingers pay attention to "the New Year is the New Year after Laba" and "the New Year is the New Year when the plum blossoms are planted", but this year's Beijing has more "The curtain of "Zhenghong Banner" is opened to celebrate the New Year".

As Beijing Renyi’s New Year’s Eve drama, this Beijing-flavored drama of Quanliang Shangba carries too many meanings: Renyi’s 70th anniversary after the celebration; the first 100% attendance rate in three years; 40 actors The lineup is close to that of "Tea House", and this "Under the Red Flag" is really exquisite.

The first work after the 70th Anniversary of Human Art

When Mr. Lao She wrote about the details that Uncle Ding invited the pastor to dinner, he stopped abruptly.

However, what came to an abrupt end was not only the 11.5 chapters, but also the life of Mr. Lao She.

It is said that this "Under the Red Flag" is the soul of Mr. Lao She and the skeleton of Mr. Li Longyun. Over the years, this unfinished preface work of Lao She is considered to be a work that truly sees the world, oneself, and all beings.

The past of humiliation, the continuation of the nation, great love and compassion are all condensed in vivid but not so likable characters.

The Renyi version of "Under the Red Flag" is directed by Dean Feng Yuanzheng and young director Yan Rui, with Pu Cunxin, Yang Lixin, Liang Danni, Wang Qianhua, Yu Zhen, Wang Gang, Fu Jia, Wu Shanshan, Liu Hui, Lei Jia, Yang Jiayin, He Jing and other actors Assemble a strong lineup.

As the first work of Renyi Art after its 70th anniversary celebration, the rehearsal of "Under the Red Flag" is a response to Renyi's first play "Longxugou".

The actors in the play gathered Lan Faqing, who entered the theater in 1972, and the youngest generation who just entered the theater on December 1 last year, achieving a succession.

Mr. Lao She "Returns" to the Capital Theater

"Under the Red Flag" is an unfinished autobiographical work of Mr. Lao She.

In the drama version, Pu Cunxin plays Mr. Lao She.

He told reporters that he decided to play the role because of his heartbeat after receiving the phone call, "We are the descendants of Mr. Lao She, and (so) Mr. Zhizhi played him. The play is called "Taiping Lake", and I am in awe. Xinxin takes on this role, and even more boldly plays him with respect."

Now, there are two printed photos of Mr. Lao She pasted in Pu Cunxin's dressing room, which are also references for his own makeup every night. The hair, eyebrows and sides of the nose are the places he focuses on.

With the blue Chinese tunic suit on his body, Mr. Lao She "returned" to the long-lost Capital Theater. The last monologue was also written by Pu Cunxin himself, and it is his duty to play Lao She.

Director Yan Rui said, "In this "Under the Red Flag", Mr. Lao She is not just a needle-threader, he has 'returned' to the familiar Capital Theater and is with us every night." There are many characters and many characters. Therefore, the whole play breaks the previous narrative, and connects different aspects of fragmentation from the perspective of Mr. Lao She, forming a unique way of watching the play.

Lao She's father played by Yang Lixin, aunt played by Liang Danni, elder sister and mother-in-law played by Wang Qianhua, Yun Weng played by Wang Gang, Zheng Weng played by Fu Jia, Lao She's mother played by Wu Shanshan, second brother Fu Hai played by Liu Hui, Bo Shengzhi played by Lei Jia , the boss played by Yang Jiayin, the second son played by He Jing, and other characters are a collection of beings who are lame, blind, vicious, arrogant, self-important, and eat their own food.

The banner people's customs and face culture conveyed by Mr. Lao She's pens, which are saturated with old patriarchal concepts and conservative and backward, are certainly interesting, but the most poignant and heart-wrenching part in the play is the part where these Qing people are humiliated by German military officers. In the previous article, the children of the Eight Banners who relied on their ancestors' meritorious deeds to fish in troubled waters now have a sluggish face, sounding the death knell for the decline of a country, which began with the depression of the hearts of the people, and also became the finishing touch of the whole play.

The stage design is both Beijing and freehand

At the media meeting in early January, Feng Yuanzheng introduced, "This drama coincides with "Tea House" because it is for all beings. There are nine main scenes in the whole drama, because it is difficult to change scenes, so we found Beijing Qingzhuan. The elements of the roof reflect each other between the turmoil of the late Qing Dynasty and the comfortable Beijingers."

The curtain opened, and the stage in front of me was a bit like a human art show. I didn’t see the familiar small courtyards in the market, the gates of the capital houses, and the glazed tile roofs of different sizes. It was both Beijing and freehand.

It is said that this is the inspiration that choreographer Chang Jiang got when he overlooked Beijing while experiencing life in the Bell and Drum Tower.

Actors shuttle through the roof, completing the division and series of time and space again and again.

In addition to the unconventional dance beauty, there is also a dance that seems to be against the harmony in the play, so as to show the scene of the Eight Banners and help the audience imagine the life at that time in a grand momentum. mirror each other.

It is reported that, except for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, "Under the Red Flag" will be staged at the Capital Theater until January 28.

On January 27th, the Eternal Art Lecture of Drama "Family and Country -- Creation Sharing Session of "Under the Red Flag"" will be launched at Caoyu Theater. Directors Feng Yuanzheng, Yan Rui, and starring Pu Cunxin, Yang Lixin, Liang Danni, and Wang Qianhua will share with the audience The behind-the-scenes stories in the creation process of the play analyze their understanding of the connotation of the work and their grasp of the way of presentation, and tell the indissoluble bond between Beijing Renyi and this classic play.
