His was not a statement from arrogance but rather from despair.

And, rushing, from the recognition of something similar to loneliness.

He liked to remember (from fear perhaps) that as a child, barely 14 years old, he dared to write a letter from Roberto Rossellini to make it clear (to himself, to the greatest of directors and to the world) what his passion was .

And even his condemnation.

Agustí Villaronga died on Sunday at the age of 69 due to cancer that had been haunting him for more than a year.
