On January 22, the first day of the Lunar New Year, the twins of giant panda "Er Shun" in Chongqing Zoo celebrated their half-year-old birthday.

On the morning of the same day, the baby panda was brought out by the breeder "Daddy" to greet the tourists.

From now until January 31, Chongqing Zoo will carry out a name-calling campaign for the pair of twin pandas.

It is understood that the two giant panda siblings were born on July 22, 2022. The panda mother "Er Shun" once lived in Canada as a friendly envoy and returned to China at the end of November 2020.

During his stay in Canada, "Er Shun" gave birth to a pair of twins "Jia Yueyue" and "Jia Panpan" in 2015.

The pair of dragon and phoenix twins named today is the second time that "Er Shun" has successfully given birth to twins, and it is also the first time she has given birth after returning to China.

The giant panda's father "Qingqing" lives in the China Conservation and Research Center for Giant Pandas and is an "Internet celebrity" in the panda world.

At present, the twin panda cubs weigh about 13 kilograms and are growing well.
